Bharti Airtel, India’s second-largest telecom operator, is gradually expanding its Fixed-Wireless Access (FWA) services for 5G. Currently, the service is available in seven cities, including Rajkot, Kolkata, Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and Gurgaon. As demand for 5G FWA increases, the company plans to expand to other cities.
Airtel Xstream AirFiber New Plans
Airtel Xtreme AirFiber services offer limited plans to users. There are currently only three options: one plan costs Rs. 699 and provides a speed of 40 Mbps, while the other two new plans offer a speed of 100 Mbps.
Both 100 Mbps plans are different from each other. Here are the details of the benefits for each plan:
Airtel Xstream AirFiber Rs. 799 plan
This plan costs Rs. 799 and offers a speed of 100 Mbps. Users get 1TB of data, but there are no bundled OTT (over-the-top) benefits. Customers can purchase this plan for six or twelve months only. If they choose the 12-month plan, they will not have to pay the installation charge of Rs. 1000.
Airtel Xstream AirFiber Rs. 899 plan
This plan costs Rs. 899 and offers a speed of 100 Mbps. Users get 1TB of data along with OTT benefits, including an Xstream box for watching linear TV. The Xstream box is a smart set-top box offered by the company’s DTH (direct-to-home) division. The plan also includes Xstream Play and Disney+ Hot Star. Users also get access to 350+ HD/SD TV channels. If users opt for the 12-month plan, they will get free installation.
In addition, Bharti Airtel has recently launched Xstream Play prepaid plans. These plans offer many benefits, including unlimited 5G data and OTT subscriptions. Their prices range from Rs. 359 to Rs. 1,499.
