  1. Create a new message with ‘199’ as the recipient and the text field is “GETESIM<32-digit EID><15-digit IMEI>.” The 32-digit EID (Electronic Identifier) and 15-digit IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) numbers.
    • The EID and IMEI are in the ‘About Phone‘ section within ‘Settings‘, along with the device package box and documentation.
  2. Carefully type the message without mistakes and send it.
  3. You’ll receive an IVR System call from +91 2235072222 on your Jio number within a few minutes.
    • Give your consent to initiate the eSIM activation process by following menu options and giving relevant input to activate eSIM.
  4. Once the process is completed, you’ll get an email and SMS on your Jio number confirming eSIM activation, and it will take upto 4 hours or more.
  5. Go to ‘Settings‘ and open the ‘Network & Internet‘ menu.
