Reliance Jio has recently launched a new Rs.49/- prepaid plan to offer direct competition to Airtel’s Rs 49 plan as an IPL Cricket Offer. The Jio Recharge Plan RC 49 is a data voucher for prepaid users with 25GB of data with one day validity, and those Jio users must need an active base prepaid plan to make this offer available.
Airtel offers a similar plan with one day validity, but it only provides 20GB of data, resulting in a difference of 5GB between the offerings of both companies. Jio has other data vouchers available, but the Rs 49 plan is intended for those who require a large amount of data usage for a single day, and the unused data will expire once the validity is crossed.
Should customers require more data, they may opt for the Rs 222 plan, which provides 50GB of data and has the same validity as the existing active prepaid plan. The Rs 444 and Rs 667 data vouchers offer 100GB and 150GB of data for 60 days and 90 days, respectively. These plans are designed to enable uninterrupted IPL streaming.
Customers who subscribe to Jio’s unlimited 5G data offer or Airtel’s 5G Unlimited data subscription offer do not need to purchase these data vouchers or recharge offers. They can use the unlimited 5G data offer if they have 5G Coverage.
The unlimited 5G data subscription offers high speed data suitable for all cricket streaming needs. Jio has completed its 5G rollout in most of the metro cities of India and is currently focused on expanding coverage in cities and towns where 5G services are already available.
However, Airtel has limited 5G coverage compared to Jio. However, those Airtel 5G subscribers in metro cities have Airtel 5G networks, so they can utilize the Unlimited 5G free subscription.
