Vodafone Idea, India’s third-largest telecom company, has introduced a data add-on plan for its customers at Rs.75/-. This plan allows users to get additional data after exhausting the internet data limit of their current plan.
To use this plan, users must first have a basic plan. The Rs.75/- plan will only work as an add-on to an existing plan. Users can only avail themselves of additional data by paying for the Rs.75/- plan through the Vi Mobile app, which is available on both iOS and Android platforms.
The plan is valid for seven days and provides 6GB of data. However, users who recharge through the Vi Mobile app will receive an additional 1.5GB of data, bringing the total data to 7.5 GB. The cost of this plan is Rs.75/- plus Rs.10/-.
It’s important to note that Vodafone Idea is lagging behind its competitors, such as Jio and Airtel, who have been rolling out 5G services in the country for the past few months and are running free trials for this. Vodafone Idea has yet to fully expand its 4G network across the country and is raising funds to expand its 4G network and launch 5G services.
