The telecom operator BSNL has introduced 1503 or 18001801503 numbers so customers can check their remaining data, SMS, and talk time details via IVR call.
- Dial 1503 or 18001801503 from your BSNL Mobile Number.
- IVRS Instructions are started once the call is connected.
- Follow the instructions and Provide relevant input to learn about your BSNL Mobile Balance.
- You can listen to your BSNL Mobile Current Plan Validity and other information on the IVRS Call.
- Additionally, you can request the balance information through SMS.

BSNL Balance Check through SMS
To check your BSNL balance and validity, you can use your phone’s messaging app. Simply type “BAL” and send it to 121. You will then receive a message with details about your data balance, validity period, and other related information. This process is quick and easy!
BSNL Balance Check through USSD Code
To check your BSNL balance using the USSD code, follow these steps:
- If you have a smartphone, launch the dialer or phone application. For feature phone users, skip to step 2.
- Using your smartphone’s keypad, type in *123*1#.
- Press the call button to transmit the USSD code.
- View your balance details and enter additional numbers to access more information.
- To check your remaining data allowance, start afresh and type in *123*5#.
- Press the call button to execute the USSD code.
That’s it! You should now be able to check your BSNL balance and data allowance using USSD codes.

- To access your BSNL plan details, download the BSNL Selfcare app from App Store or Google Play store.
- Choose language, register and fill in details.
- Enter your phone number, type OTP and see plan details on the dashboard.

To check the main balance of your BSNL account, simply dial *123# from your BSNL number. You will receive a text message with your BSNL balance information.
