How to Change Aadhaar Card Photo Offline

Aadhaar card is a crucial document for Indian citizens as it is necessary to avail government benefits. The card contains 12-digit unique identification number issued by the Central Unique Identification Authority (UIDAI), which includes biometric details such as name, address, date of birth, gender, photo, and phone number. It is important to keep the information on the Aadhaar card up-to-date and accurate.

If any details such as name, address, or date of birth need to be changed, it can be done either online or offline. It is recommended to avoid spelling mistakes and to ensure that the address is valid. While many people frequently update their Aadhaar card details, some may be concerned about the photo, which might not be current or may not be to their liking. However, photos, IRIS, and fingerprints fall under biometric details; hence, one must visit the Aadhaar centre to update these.
