Motorola is set to launch another smartphone in India. The company recently released the Moto Edge 40 Pro, targeting users with a budget ranging from Rs.30,000 to Rs.35,000. Now, they’re launching the Moto G64 5G, a more budget-friendly option. The phone will be exclusively available for purchase through Flipkart, with offline sales available at authorized retail stores.
While the official pricing has not been announced, the Moto G54 5G was launched last year at a starting price of Rs.14,999. Given that the G64 5G is part of the company’s budget series, it’s expected to be priced similarly.
In terms of specifications, the Moto G64 5G features a 6.5-inch full HD+ LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs on Android 14, with guaranteed three years of security updates and an upgrade to Android 15.3. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimension 7025 chipset, with a 2.5 GHz octa-core CPU. It comes in two variants: 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The Moto G64 5G has a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with optical image stabilization, supporting macro and depth photography. Additionally, the phone features stereo speakers, two microphones, and a 3.5 mm headphone port. Connectivity options include support for 14 5G bands, Bluetooth 5.3, and hybrid dual-SIM capability.
